Peter Enriquez



Peter Enriquez is a multi-instrumentalist, music director, producer, and audio engineer based in Brooklyn, NY.  Primarily a guitarist, Peter has performed with various artists throughout the country and internationally in a variety of styles ranging from pop to jazz and everything in between.

Peter's R&B/Hip-Hop collective, Honeytrap, held a residency at the famed Arlene's Grocery, where they organized Thursday nights every week and held an open, fully improvised hip-hop jam session at midnight. Honeytrap  released their first large scale project in 2020, a live studio video album intercut with documentary footage from the jam session, and interviews from various musicians, audience members, and members of the band. Since then, they’ve released a single In Oct. 2021 an are looking towards another EP in late 2023.

Recently, Peter premiered a set of compositions for the 2022 Whitney Biennial Exhibition with members of Honeytrap entitled Love You Madly, a companion piece to a film by the same name in the exhibit about Steve Cannon, a Lower Manhattan cultural icon and founder of non-profit arts organization A Gathering of the Tribes.

Peter holds the title of Co-founder at Short Stack NY. In addition to his engineering and managemnt roles at Short Stack, he also serves as a music director and playback engineer for various local and touring artists. Please visit our music direction page to learn more about these services.
